Minnesota Public Lands Coalition is a growing grass roots group whose #1 imperative is to balance the explosion in motorized trails with thoughtful controls that will help protect the quality of our lands, waters and wildlife.
MNPLC seeks to implement commonsense policy that secures the long term protection of our waters, lands and wildlife for future generations and to help safeguard the foundation of our nature based tourist economies for all forms of recreation.
Our Mission Statement
To enact policy that demands new motorized recreation projects are planned, managed, and implemented in a way that prioritizes protection of the environment based on conservation science.
To advocate for ecologically responsible recreation on Minnesota’s public lands.
To foster education about the environmental costs of recreation and the value of interacting in harmony with nature.
To foster a sense of respect and awareness for the natural world, as well as a sense of stewardship and limits.
To leave behind places that remain minimally developed and untrammeled for our children and future generations to enjoy.
